25 George Street was in a long term state of disrepair when our client commissioned us to restore the property to it’s former glory. The terraced property over 3 levels was riddled with damp, woodworm and a poor layout.
The view to the Firth of Forth however was spectacular from the first day. The owner wished to bring the property back to life to be used as a holiday let.
Working with the owner, we created a detailed plan in coordination with specialist damp contractors to restore the property to it’s best. Our tradesmen took the fabric of the building back to brick; replaced all the flooring on the first level; relocated the kitchen to the top level; added an additional bathroom to the basement; replaced all the old uPVC windows with modern timber sash and case windows; fully re-wired the property; fully re-plumbed the property, including the introduction of gas; installed a utility room; replaced the bathroom; and full decorated inside and out.
